Canadian Club 40yr Review

Beautiful presentation with the box and bottle and nice rope neck.  Thick glass.  Classy and looks great on the shelf.

Pale color whiskey, with strong maple syrup and vanilla nose with Necco wafers and a touch of toffee on the back.

Good mouthfeel given the proof, initially very smooth but the baking spices build up enjoyably throughout the sip with a medium mouthfeel.

It’s not great, but it’s very good.  The JP Wiser’s 35yr release is significantly better.  However, for a 40yr whiskey, it holds its own and it very enjoyable.  90/100
